The status bar can be found at the bottom.

It contains current informations about the board. If  Move is activated, clicking on the status bar shows and hides it.

A * in the title bar indictes that the board has not been saved yet.

The properties of the board (title, author, grid, ...) can be changed in the menu "board" under  Board properties.
